Lloyd woke up to find where Annelissa had been laying empty. He sat up and looked around. Everything was the same, but different, it was smooth, too clear, but the edges were rough. He heard children laughing, and he looked out the window. The sun was shining on him through it. He saw a little girl spinning on a pole with one hand, and holding a ball in the other.
